私は日本の伝統文化に憧れ、20歳代から30歳代の１０年間あまり茶道に触れ、
作法の奥にある様式、色彩、空間、精神性、多くのものを学ぶ。
一番の思い出は、大徳寺での茶事、宗旦の茶杓に触れたお点前。
その後、利休居士に縁のある長谷川等伯を知り、憧れの作家となっていった。
私の写真作品の色彩が最低限に絞られているのも、そこに淵源があるようにも思えている。
注目した色彩に絞り込む表現によって、むしろ色彩を多様に想像する楽しみ、そういった世界を共有いただければ幸いである。

I admired traditional Japanese culture and was involved with the tea ceremony for about 10 years from my 20s to 30s.
I learned a lot from it, including the style, colors, space, and spirituality behind the etiquette.
My favorite memory is serving tea with Sotan's tea scoop at a tea ceremony at Daitokuji Temple.
After that, I learned about Hasegawa Tohaku, who had a connection to Rikyu Koji, and he became an artist I admired.
I think that the reason why I limit the colors in my photographs to a minimum is because of this.
I would be happy if you could share the joy of imagining colors in a diverse way by focusing on the colors you notice.
